If you are driving, head towards La Fortuna and follow the signs to Arenal Volcano National Park. From the park entrance, follow the main road (Route 142) towards the Mirador el Silencio located at F7MC+W37. The entrance to the viewpoint will be on your left side. There is usually a small parking area where you can leave your car. Ensure to check for any parking fees, which may vary.

Public Transportation
To reach Mirador el Silencio via public transportation, take a local bus from La Fortuna to Arenal Volcano National Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either walk (approximately 5 km along Route 142) or take a taxi to the viewpoint. Be sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver beforehand. The bus fare is typically very affordable, while taxi fares can vary.

If you're already within Arenal Volcano National Park, you can walk to Mirador el Silencio if you are close enough. Start from the main trail leading from the visitor center. Follow the signs towards the viewpoint, which is approximately a 2-3 km hike, depending on your starting point. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, as the trail can be uneven in some areas.
