If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Arenal Volcano National Park. Head southeast on Route 142. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the town of La Fortuna. Once in La Fortuna, look for signs leading to Relax Termalitas Hot Springs. The location is approximately 5 kilometers from the center of La Fortuna, so keep an eye out for the entrance on your left. Parking is available on-site, but be aware that there may be a fee for parking.

For those using public transportation, take a local bus from the center of La Fortuna heading towards the Arenal Volcano National Park. Buses frequently leave from the main bus terminal. Ask the driver to drop you off near Relax Termalitas Hot Springs; it’s a well-known stop. From the bus stop, it is a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the entrance of the hot springs. The bus fare is usually around 1,000 to 2,000 CRC (Costa Rican Colón).
