Walking
From the central park of La Fortuna, head west on Avenida 1 until you reach the Iglesia Católica (Catholic Church). This should take about 10 minutes. Once you reach the church, continue walking west on the same road. Keep going for approximately 4.5 km. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way. After about 45 minutes of walking, you will see signs for Termales del Arenal on your right. The entrance is just off the main road.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops in La Fortuna. Start at the central park and ride west on Avenida 1 towards the Iglesia Católica. After reaching the church, continue straight on the same road for about 4.5 km. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your speed. You will see signs for Termales del Arenal on your right side just before arriving.

You can easily find a taxi in La Fortuna. Simply flag one down or ask your hotel to call one for you. Tell the driver you want to go to Termales del Arenal, which is located 4.5 km west of the Catholic Church. The ride should take around 10 minutes, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance.
