Getting There

Walking
From the central park of La Fortuna, head west on Calle 501 towards the Catholic Church. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 2. Turn left onto Avenida 2 and walk for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and restaurants. Continue until you reach the main road (Route 142). Cross carefully to the other side and head westward. After about 4.5 km, you will see the entrance to Termales del Arenal on your left. Look for the signage indicating the hot springs.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in La Fortuna. Start at the central park and ride west along Calle 501 towards the Catholic Church. After passing the church, turn left onto Avenida 2. Continue straight until you reach Route 142. Turn left onto Route 142 and continue cycling for about 4.5 km. Watch for the entrance to Termales del Arenal on your left. This route is mostly flat and suitable for cyclists of all levels.

Hail a taxi from any location in La Fortuna. Provide the driver with the address: '4.5 km oeste de la iglesia católica de la fortuna hacía el Volcan Alajuela.' The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of Termales del Arenal. This is a convenient option if you're traveling with luggage or prefer not to walk or cycle.
