Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from the Cahuita National Park entrance. Head south on Route 36 (also known as the 'Cahuita Road') for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach a small dirt road on your right. Turn onto this road and follow it for about 500 meters. This road will lead you directly to the Natural Pools area. There is limited parking available near the entrance to the pools.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, take a local bus from Cahuita town that is heading towards Puerto Viejo. Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop near the entrance to Cahuita National Park. From the park entrance, walk south along Route 36 for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the dirt road on your right, which will lead you to the Natural Pools. Be prepared for a 10-15 minute walk along the road to reach the pools.

  • Walking

    For those already inside Cahuita National Park, simply follow the main trails towards the southern end of the park. After about a 30-minute walk along the scenic coastal trail, you will reach the Natural Pools. Enjoy the lush surroundings and the beautiful views as you make your way there.
