Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Jaco Beach area, head east towards Calle Madrigal. Walk along the beach until you reach the end of the sand. From there, continue to follow the main road, Avenida Pastor Diaz, for about 15 minutes until you reach Calle Madrigal. Turn left onto Calle Madrigal, and you will soon see the entrance to Jaco Beach on your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Jaco. Start by cycling along the beach boardwalk heading towards the east. After about 10 minutes, you will arrive at the intersection with Avenida Pastor Diaz. Continue straight until you reach Calle Madrigal, then turn left. Jaco Beach will be a short ride ahead on your right.

Locate the nearest bus stop along Avenida Pastor Diaz. Take any bus heading towards Playa Jaco. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Calle Madrigal. Once you get off the bus, walk towards Calle Madrigal and Jaco Beach will be just a few minutes' walk down the road.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Jaco. Tell the driver to take you to 'Calle Madrigal, near Jaco Beach.' The ride will be short, roughly 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic, and the taxi will drop you off right at the entrance to Jaco Beach.
