Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the center of La Fortuna, head south on Avenida 1 until you reach the intersection with Route 142. Turn left onto Route 142 and continue for about 3 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to La Fortuna Waterfall. The Fortuna Kiosk is located near the entrance of the waterfall park at F9C4+J4. There is usually parking available nearby, but be prepared to pay a small fee for parking, which can range from $2 to $5.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Fortuna Kiosk via public transportation, you can catch a local bus from the main bus station in La Fortuna that goes to La Fortuna Waterfall. The buses run frequently, approximately every hour. The fare is typically around $1. Once you arrive at the waterfall park, walk towards the entrance where the Fortuna Kiosk is located at F9C4+J4. It’s a short walk, and there are signs directing you to the kiosk.

• Walking

  If you're already near the La Fortuna Waterfall area, you can walk to the Fortuna Kiosk. From the main entrance of the waterfall park, head towards the ticket booth where the kiosk is located at F9C4+J4. The walk should take you around 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the paths can be uneven.
