    From the central park in La Fortuna, head east on Calle 470 towards the main road, Avenida 1. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida 3. Turn left onto Avenida 3 and walk for another 300 meters. You will see a sign for El Río on your right. Continue walking for about 200 meters until you reach the entrance.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in La Fortuna. Start at the central park and head east on Calle 470 to Avenida 1. Turn left on Avenida 1 and cycle straight for about 600 meters. When you reach Avenida 3, turn left and continue for another 300 meters. Look for the sign for El Río on your right, and continue cycling for approximately 200 meters until you arrive at the destination.
