From Limón, head west on Route 32 towards San José. After about 90 km, take the exit toward Route 39 toward Moravia. Continue on Route 39 for about 5 km. Once you reach Moravia, look for signs to Lincoln Plaza, then proceed to 50 m East, 500 m North, and 100 m West. The park will be on your left. There may be a small parking fee depending on the time of year, so have some cash ready.

From Limón, take a bus to San José. The buses leave frequently from the Limón bus terminal. Once in San José, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading to Moravia. Ask the driver for the stop nearest to Lincoln Plaza. From there, follow the directions to walk 50 m East, then 500 m North, and 100 m West to reach Itarär Ecological Park. The total cost for the bus trip should be around 3,000 to 4,000 CRC depending on the bus companies.
