Car
From Limón, head northwest on Route 32 towards San José. Continue on Route 32 for approximately 100 km (about 1.5 hours). Take the exit toward Route 1 in the direction of Cañas Dulces. Merge onto Route 1 and continue for about 20 km. Look for signs leading to Cañas Dulces and then to Unnamed Road. The entrance to Poza Los Coyotes will be along this road. Please note that there may be a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from the Limón bus terminal to Liberia. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once in Liberia, switch to a bus heading towards Cañas Dulces. After arriving in Cañas Dulces, you may need to take a taxi or arrange for a local shuttle to reach Poza Los Coyotes, which is about 5 km away on Unnamed Road. Taxi fares in this area can vary, so be sure to agree on a price before starting your journey.
Taxi
If you prefer not to drive or use public transport, you can hire a taxi directly from Limón to Poza Los Coyotes. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it can range from $40 to $60 depending on your starting point in Limón. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic.
