Driving
The Crocodile Bridge is located directly on Route 34, the main coastal highway. If you are driving from San José, take Route 27 towards the coast and then exit onto Route 34 towards Jacó/Manuel Antonio. The bridge will be on your route, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from San José. From Jacó, the bridge is about a 20-minute drive north on Route 34. There is free parking available on both sides of the bridge, near the souvenir shops and restaurants. Be aware that parking attendants may ask for tips. Car theft can occur, so take your valuables, roll up windows and lock your doors.
Public Transport
If traveling by public transport from San José, take the 601 bus to Pozón, followed by a 13-minute taxi to the bridge. Alternatively, take the bus to Jacó and ask the driver to stop at the Crocodile Bridge. From Puntarenas, take the bus to Jacó and disembark at the Crocodile Bridge. Bus fares from San José or Puntarenas to Jacó typically cost around $7-$12. A taxi from Pozón to the bridge will cost approximately $5-10.
