Getting There

• Walking

  From the main entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park, head south along the main road (Camino a la Playa) towards the beach. Continue walking until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right path, which will lead you into the town of Quepos. Keep walking straight and look for signs that indicate the direction to Quepos. As you enter Quepos, you will encounter local shops and restaurants. Continue toward the center of town until you reach the main square. From the square, ask locals for directions to Agua Azul, as it is a popular spot and they will be able to guide you directly. It is approximately a 30-40 minute walk from the park entrance.

• Public Bus

  Make your way to the bus stop located near the main entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park. Look for the bus heading to Quepos, which runs frequently throughout the day. Once aboard, tell the driver your destination is Agua Azul in Quepos. The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the main bus station in Quepos. From there, it’s a short walk to Agua Azul. Head south on Avenida 2, pass by the local shops, and follow the signs pointing to Agua Azul. The total time including the bus ride and walking should be around 30-40 minutes.

• Taxi

  You can easily find a taxi in Manuel Antonio. Just flag one down or ask your hotel to call one for you. Inform the driver that you want to go to Agua Azul in Quepos. The drive will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to agree on a fare before getting in, or ensure the meter is running. Once you arrive, you can explore the area around Agua Azul.
