If you are driving from Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, head east on Route 606 (also known as the Monteverde Road) towards the town of Santa Elena. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Route 142. Turn left onto Route 142 and drive approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through the town of La Fortuna. Look for signs directing you to Arenal Horse Tours, which is located 400 meters south of Super Kike in Alajuela Alto Monterrey. The total drive should take about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Public Transportation
To reach Arenal Horse Tours using public transportation, you will first need to get to the nearest bus terminal in Santa Elena. From the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, take a local shuttle or taxi to the bus terminal. Once at the terminal, catch a bus heading to La Fortuna. The bus ride takes approximately 1.5 hours. After arriving in La Fortuna, you will need to take a taxi or a local shuttle to Arenal Horse Tours. The address is 400 meters south of Super Kike in Alajuela Alto Monterrey. This taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and may cost around $10-$15.
