    From the Monteverde Cloud Forest area, you can take a local bus heading towards El Castillo. Buses usually leave every hour from the main bus stop in Monteverde. Let the driver know your destination; they can drop you off near the Butterfly Conservatory. The conservatory is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs. The bus fare is typically around 1,000 CRC (Costa Rican Colón).
