    From the main entrance of Arenal Volcano National Park, drive towards the town of La Fortuna. Follow Route 142 for approximately 12 kilometers (about 30 minutes). Turn left onto F63R road (the road leading to the lake), and continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the viewpoint.
