Walking
From the center of Monteverde, head southwest on Route 606 towards Santa Elena. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, look for a sign on your right directing you towards Reserva Aguti. Turn right onto the gravel road and continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance. Walking from Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve entrance takes about 20 minutes. Be cautious as the roads can be uneven.

From the central area of Monteverde, take a local bus that goes towards Santa Elena or the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Reserva Aguti.
