Walking
From the center of Monteverde, head southwest on Route 606 (also known as the Monteverde Road). Look for signs directing you towards Finca Modelo Ecológica. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Keep left and continue along the main road for another 500 meters. You will see a sign for Finca Modelo Ecológica on your right. The entrance is located at La Cruz, 60109, Puntarenas Province.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to take public transport, you can board a local bus from the Monteverde Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards La Cruz. The bus will take you approximately 20 minutes to reach a stop close to Finca Modelo Ecológica. Once you get off, walk back about 300 meters towards the last intersection and you will find the entrance to Finca Modelo Ecológica on your left.

Bicycle Rental
Bicycle rentals are available in Monteverde. Rent a bike and head towards Route 606. Follow the same route as if you were walking. Biking will take about 10-15 minutes to reach Finca Modelo Ecológica from the center of town. Be cautious of the uphill sections and watch for traffic.
