Getting There

Walking

From the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, head southeast on the main road (Ruta 606) towards the center of Monteverde. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road at the intersection with the road leading to Santa Elena. Take a right onto the road towards Santa Elena. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you see signs for 'Mirador' or 'Viewpoint'. The entrance to the Mirador will be on your left.
Taxi

You can easily get a taxi from any point in Monteverde. Simply ask your hotel or the nearest shop to call a taxi for you. Provide the driver with the address '8537+4QP, Provincia de Puntarenas, Monteverde' or mention 'Mirador'. The taxi ride should take around 10 minutes depending on traffic.
Bicycle Rental

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Monteverde. Start from the center of Monteverde and head south on Ruta 606. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take a right towards Santa Elena and ride for another kilometer. Look for the signs indicating 'Mirador' on your left. The ride will take around 20 minutes depending on your pace.
