If you are starting from the center of Monteverde, make your way to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. From the entrance, head southeast on the main road (Ruta 606) for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Santa Elena. Turn left onto this road and continue for another 1 kilometer. Look for signs directing you to NATUWA Wildlife Sanctuary, which will be on your right side, just 1 kilometer past the Plaza Deportes.
