Upon arrival at the 'Parqueo Reserva Monteverde Cloud Forest' parking lot, park your car and take the shuttle to the reserve entrance. Parking costs $5 USD. The shuttle is free and runs every 15 minutes from 7 AM to 5 PM.

From downtown Santa Elena, take the public bus that departs from Banco Nacional towards the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Buses typically leave at 6:15 AM, 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 1:20 PM, and 3 PM. The bus will drop you off at the official parking lot. From there, take the free shuttle to the entrance. The bus fare is approximately $1 USD each way.
