If you are staying in the center of Monteverde, head towards the main road (Ruta 606) that connects you to Santa Elena. Start walking in the direction of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. After about 15 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the right path which leads you towards Santa Elena. Continue walking straight for another 20 minutes, and you will see the signs for Santa Elena on your left. Follow the signs, and you will arrive in Santa Elena.

When you board the bus, inform the driver that you want to go to Santa Elena. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off in the town center of Santa Elena.
