Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from La Fortuna, the main town in the Northern Plains. Head south on Route 142 (Ruta 142) from the center of La Fortuna. After about 800 meters, look for a sign indicating the entrance to Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge & Wildlife Refuge, which will be approximately 800 meters south of the main entrance to Z-13. The lodge is on your left side. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
From La Fortuna, you can take a local bus headed towards Arenal or any bus that passes Z-13. Ensure you inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop near the entrance to Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge & Wildlife Refuge. This bus ride typically costs around 500 to 1,000 CRC (Costa Rican Colón). Once you get off the bus, walk south for about 800 meters until you reach the lodge entrance, which will be on your left.
