From central Puntarenas, head southeast on Avenida 2 towards Calle 4. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Route 34. Turn left onto Route 34 (Carretera Costanera) heading towards Quepos. Stay on Route 34 for approximately 50 km, enjoying the scenic coastal views. Once you reach Quepos, look for signs directing you to CRFJ+289. After entering Quepos, follow local signs to Parque Nahomi, which is located at the coordinates 9.4225, -84.1692. The park entrance will be on your right side, and parking is available nearby.

To reach Parque Nahomi via public transportation, head to the Puntarenas bus terminal. Look for buses heading to Quepos; they run frequently throughout the day. The bus ride typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours and costs approximately 3,000 to 4,000 CRC (Costa Rican Colón). Once you arrive in Quepos, exit the bus and ask locals for directions to CRFJ+289. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bus station to Parque Nahomi. Follow the signs towards the park, and you will reach the entrance shortly.
