Car
If you're driving, start from the nearest major city, Liberia. Take Route 21 south towards Santa Cruz. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will arrive in Santa Cruz. From Santa Cruz, follow Route 160 towards Playa Grande. Continue on Route 160 for about 25 kilometers until you see signs for Parque Nacional Marino Las Baulas. The entrance is located approximately 500 meters south of the Escuela de Playa Grande.

Public Transportation
To reach Parque Nacional Marino Las Baulas via public transportation, catch a bus from Liberia to Santa Cruz. The bus departs regularly and the fare is approximately 1,500-2,000 CRC.
