From Tamarindo's main beach area, head southeast towards the main road (Route 160). Walk along the beach until you reach the main road. After about 15 minutes, you'll arrive at the intersection where you can see the supermarket called 'Auto Mercado' on your left. Turn left onto Route 160.

Continue walking along Route 160 for about 500 meters. You will pass several shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the sign for Playa Grande School on your right. Frijoles Locos Surf Shop is located just next door, to the west of the school.
