From Puntarenas, head southeast on Route 1 (Interamericana) towards Buenos Aires. After approximately 1.5 hours (around 65 km), take the exit towards Route 2. Continue on Route 2 for about 12 km until you reach a fork; keep left to stay on Route 2. Follow the signs to Olán. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended, especially during the rainy season. Parking is available on-site. Be aware that the roads leading to Olán can be narrow and challenging.

From the main bus terminal in Puntarenas, take a bus heading towards Buenos Aires. The trip takes about 2-3 hours and costs approximately 3,000 to 4,000 CRC (approximately $6 - $8 USD). Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Olán. From there, you may need to take a taxi or walk approximately 3 km to reach the chapel. Check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary.
