Tamarindo Estuary Boat Tour

A highlight of our two week Costa Rica trip!

We booked this estuary boat tour last minute and we were so glad we did! Wr were impressed by the experience, and all of the staff we interacted with at Tamarindo Xperience. Our guide, Juan Carlos, is incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and plants you see during your tour, and the estuary is absolutely beautiful. We had incredible crocodile sightings, along with bats, birds and monkeys. I also recommend taking the earliest time available. This was incredibly family friendly, and the water was calm as you slowly drift in the mangroves.

Our tour guide was the best, he made the already scenic route even better than it should’ve been. The views were great and there were many good spots to settle down for a drink.

Rio Celeste Hike, Sloths & Llanos de Cortés Falls from Guanacaste

Book it!!!

Wow! We had the best time with Michael! The variety of activities, beautiful spots, and seeing all the wildlife was truly awesome. My favorite was the Rio Celeste waterfall and the rainforest hike to get there. Moderate short amount of hiking but in the rainforest and getting to see all the wildlife there was incredible. Afterwards, at the spring- we saw frogs, leaf cutter ants, snakes, toucans, sloths! We would not have had the same experience without our guides pointing things out and taking pictures for us! The lunch provided was also really good, I had the tilapia. A must do experience here!
