If you are in central Tamarindo, such as near the Tamarindo Diria Hotel or Plaza Conchal, it is easily accessible by foot. Walk along the main street, Central Avenue, towards the southern end of town. Look for the Comercial el Punto complex; El Garito is located within this area. The walk is generally well-lit and safe, taking approximately 5-10 minutes from most central locations.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Tamarindo. You can find them in front of Hotel Diria or Plaza Conchal. A short taxi ride from the northern end of Tamarindo or nearby beaches like Playa Langosta will cost approximately 4,170 CRC (around $8 USD) for a 5km ride. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxis are a convenient option, especially late at night.

Driving

If driving, navigate to Central Ave, Comercial el Punto in Tamarindo. Parking in Tamarindo can be limited, especially during peak hours. There are a few designated parking lots and some street parking available. Parking at Rasta Parking, located near Volcano Brewing as you enter town, costs around 5,000 CRC for the day.
