Generous donations from Saudi Arabia helped revive the project, leading to its eventual completion and inauguration in 2007. The mosque covers an area of 7,500 square meters and can accommodate up to 6,500 worshippers, with 3,500 on the esplanade and 3,000 in the prayer hall.The Plateau Mosque features a 65-meter-high minaret that dominates the skyline, a large majorelle-blue dome, and intricate geometric designs. The mosque also houses a library, shops, offices, a 300-seat amphitheater, and a mortuary. Non-Muslim visitors are welcome to admire the mosque's exterior and serene surroundings, though access inside may be restricted during prayer times.
