If you are traveling by car in Banovina, start from the center of Sisak. Take the D36 road heading southeast towards Glina. Continue on the D36 for about 30 km until you reach the town of Glina. In Glina, follow the signs to Marija Trošt. Once in Marija Trošt, look for local signs directing you to Bakarčev slap. The waterfall is situated approximately 5 km from the center of Marija Trošt. Be prepared for some unpaved roads towards the waterfall. Ensure you have a GPS or a map with you for navigation.

For public transportation, start by taking a bus from Sisak to Glina. The bus terminal in Sisak has regular services to Glina. After arriving in Glina, you will need to take a local taxi to reach Bakarčev slap. Confirm with the taxi driver that they know the location, as it may not be a common destination. The taxi ride from Glina to Bakarčev slap will take around 15 minutes and could cost approximately 50 HRK. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for your return trip.
