Cable Car
The Dubrovnik Cable Car offers a convenient and scenic ride to the top of Mount Srđ. The lower station is located just outside the eastern entrance of the Old Town. Purchase tickets at the station using Euros or credit cards. A round-trip ticket costs €30 for adults and €8 for children (4-12 years). The ride takes approximately 4 minutes, offering panoramic views of the Old Town and the Adriatic Sea. From the upper station, Fort Imperial is a short walk away.

Walking
For a more adventurous and budget-friendly option, hike to Fort Imperial from Dubrovnik's Old Town. The trailhead, marked as 'Staza Prema Utvrdi Imperial' on Google Maps, is located off Jadranska cesta. From Pile Gate, walk approximately 20-30 minutes, encountering numerous stairs. The trail zigzags up the mountain, passing the 14 Stations of the Cross. The hike is steep and takes about 1 hour. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

Public Transport
Take bus number 17 from Pile Gate to Bosanka. Check the Libertas website for the current timetable. Tickets can be purchased on the bus by contactless card or cash for €2.5. A 24-hour ticket is also available for €5.31. From Bosanka, it's a short, but uphill, walk to Fort Imperial.

Taxis and Ubers are available to reach Fort Imperial. A ride from Pile Gate to the top of Mount Srđ costs approximately €8-€10. Confirm the price with the driver before starting the journey. There is free parking available in front of Fort Imperial.
