From the main harbor of Hvar town, head east towards the main road (D116). Walk along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the views of the sea and the nearby islands. Continue walking until you reach the bus station. From there, you can catch a ferry to Split, which takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Split's harbor, follow the signs to Diocletian's Palace, which is just a short 10-minute walk inland. You will see the palace's impressive walls ahead.

Starting from Hvar, go to the Hvar ferry terminal near the main square. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Split, which usually departs every hour or so. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour. Once you disembark at Split's ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight ahead to reach the main entrance of Diocletian's Palace, which is only about a 10-minute walk.
