Getting there

Public Bus

From Makarska, head to the main bus station located near the waterfront. Look for buses heading to Ljubuški or Mostar. Purchase a ticket from the ticket office or the driver. The bus ride to Ljubuški takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Ljubuški bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main road. From there, you can either take a taxi or use local signage to find your way to Koćuša Waterfall, which is about 5 km away. Following the signs will lead you to the waterfall's entrance.

Taxi

After arriving in Makarska, you can find a taxi stand near the waterfront or call a taxi service. Inform the driver that you want to go to Koćuša Waterfall in Ljubuški. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.

Walking

If you are feeling adventurous and prefer a walking route, you can start from the center of Makarska and follow the coastal path towards the north. This route is scenic but requires you to walk approximately 15 km to reach the nearby town of Ljubuški. Once in Ljubuški, use local maps or ask for directions to Koćuša Waterfall, which is located about 5 km from the town center.
