Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the main promenade in Makarska, known as 'Riva'. Head east along the waterfront, following the path that runs parallel to the sea. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the end of the promenade. Here, you will see a road that leads uphill. Turn left onto the road and follow it for about 300 meters. You will then arrive at the bus stop called 'Podstrana'. From there, you can catch a local bus to Podstrana. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next available bus. Once on the bus, ride for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the 'Grljevačka ul.' stop. After disembarking the bus, walk a short 5-minute walk down Grljevačka ul. 2b, and you will find 'Open Water Croatia' on your left.

• Bus

  From Makarska's main bus station, take a local bus heading to Split. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus stops in Podstrana. The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Podstrana, get off at the 'Grljevačka ul.' stop. After getting off, walk about 5 minutes down Grljevačka ul. 2b, and you will reach 'Open Water Croatia' on your left.

• Taxi

  For a more comfortable and direct option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Makarska to 'Open Water Croatia' located at Grljevačka ul. 2b, Podstrana. Just tell the driver your destination, and they should be familiar with it. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic.
