If you're driving from cities like Split or Zadar, take the A1 motorway towards Šibenik. Exit at Šibenik and follow signs towards the city center. Once in Šibenik, follow the signs to Zablaće. The fortress is located on a small island off the coast, so park your car in Zablaće and prepare for a short boat ride to the fortress.
Public Transportation
From major cities like Split or Zadar, take a bus to Šibenik. Once you arrive at the Šibenik bus station, you can take a local taxi or public bus to Zablaće. In Zablaće, you will need to take a boat to reach St. Nicholas Fortress. Check local schedules for boat departures, as they may vary. Note that there may be a small fee for the boat ride, usually around 50-100 HRK.
Boat
After reaching Zablaće, look for the local boat service that operates to St. Nicholas Fortress. The boat ride is typically short, about 10-15 minutes, and will take you directly to the fortress.
