    If you are starting from the Old Town of Dubrovnik, head towards the Pile Gate, which is the main entrance to the city walls. Once you exit through the Pile Gate, take a left and follow the path along the city walls. Continue walking along the walls until you reach the entrance to Fort Bokar, which is located at the western end of the walls. The fort is situated at Od Puća 20. The walk along the walls offers stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding area.

    From the Old Town, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Pile (the main bus stop for city transport). Take bus number 6 or number 1A towards the Lapad area. Get off at the 'Lapad' bus stop (approximately 10 minutes). From the bus stop, walk back towards the coast and follow the signs leading to Fort Bokar. The walk from the bus stop to Fort Bokar will take about 15 minutes.

  • Taxi

    You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Dubrovnik to Fort Bokar. Simply ask the driver to take you to Od Puća 20. The taxi ride should not take more than 10 minutes depending on traffic. This option is more suitable if you are carrying heavy luggage or prefer not to walk.
