Getting There

Walking
If you are in the Old Town of Dubrovnik, head to the Pile Gate, the main entrance to the city. From there, follow the signs to the cable car station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once you reach the cable car station, purchase a ticket and board the cable car that will take you directly to the top of Mount Srđ. The ride offers stunning views of the Old Town and the Adriatic Sea. Upon arrival at the top, follow the signs to Fort Imperial, which is a short walk from the cable car station.

From the Old Town, you can take the local bus number 8 from the Pile Gate bus stop towards the cable car station (the bus will have 'Srđ' or 'Gondola' written on it). The bus ride is approximately 15 minutes. After getting off at the cable car station, buy your ticket and proceed to the cable car that will take you to the top of Mount Srđ. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Fort Imperial which is a short walk away.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Dubrovnik. Simply ask the driver to take you to the cable car station at Srđ.
