Ferry
To reach Lokrum Island, start by making your way to the Old Port (Gradska Luka) of Dubrovnik, which is located just a short walk from the historic Old Town. From the Ploče Gate (the east entrance to the Old Town), walk down the hill towards the coast, following the signs to the Old Port. Once you arrive at the Old Port, look for the ticket booth for the Lokrum ferry, which operates regularly throughout the day. Purchase your ticket and board the ferry, which will take approximately 15 minutes to reach the island. Enjoy the scenic views of the Adriatic Sea during your short ride!
Walking
If you prefer a leisurely stroll, you can walk from the Old Town to the Old Port. From the main entrance of the Old Town (Pile Gate), head towards the Stradun (the main street) and continue walking straight until you reach the Ploče Gate. Exit through the Ploče Gate and turn left, following the path along the coastline until you see the Old Port. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes, and it's a lovely way to enjoy the views of Dubrovnik's walls and the sea.
