    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from the Old Town area, make your way towards the Pile Gate, which is the main entrance to the Old Town. Once you exit through the Pile Gate, head straight down the pathway until you see the large stone walls on your left. Walk along the walls until you reach the entrance of Tvrđava Minčeta, which is located at Ul. Ispod Minčete 9. The fortress is easily recognizable by its towering structure.

    Public Transport

    From the Old Town, walk to the nearest bus stop at Pile. Take bus number 1A or 1B towards the Dubrovnik Port. Get off at the stop 'Lapad' and then transfer to bus number 6 or 7, which will take you back towards the Old Town. Get off at the stop 'Pile' and follow the directions to Tvrđava Minčeta as mentioned above.

    Taxi

    If you prefer to take a taxi, find a taxi stand in the Old Town area, or use a taxi app. Inform the driver that you want to go to Tvrđava Minčeta at Ul. Ispod Minčete 9. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the fortress. Please ensure to have cash in Croatian Kuna, as not all taxis accept credit cards.
