Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Lapad, head towards the main road that runs along the coastline, known as Ulica Iva Dulčića. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with Ulica od Tabakarije. Turn left onto Ulica od Tabakarije. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes. You'll pass by several local shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the large stone structure of Fort Lovrijenac on your right side, just before you reach the Dubrovnik city walls.

  • Public Bus

    From Lapad, you can also take Bus Number 6 towards Pile Gate. Board the bus at any of the stops in Lapad, such as the Lapad Plaza stop. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the Pile stop, which is the nearest stop to Fort Lovrijenac. From there, walk towards the Old Town entrance, and as you approach the city walls, you will see the fort directly ahead. The bus fare is approximately 15 HRK (Croatian Kuna).
