Walking
If you are staying in the Lapad area, the best way to reach Rector's Palace is by walking. Start from Lapad Beach and head east on the main road, Ulica Iva Dulčića. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ulica Kralja Tomislava. Turn right onto Ulica Kralja Tomislava and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Ulica od puča, which will lead you into the Old Town. Continue straight, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Rector's Palace located at Ul. Pred Dvorom 3. The entire walk takes around 30-40 minutes.
Public Bus
Another option is to take the public bus. From any bus stop in Lapad, look for bus number 6, which goes directly to the Old Town. Board the bus, and it will take you to the stop 'Pile'. The bus ride lasts about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you get off at Pile, follow the signs to the Old Town.
