Getting There

Walking
From the Ploče neighborhood, head towards the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Follow the path leading from the Ploče Gate (Ploče Vrata) into the Old Town. This is a gentle downhill walk that takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the Old Town, continue straight until you reach Stradun, the main street. Turn left onto Stradun, and walk until you see the entrance to the City Walls.

City Walls Entrance
You will need to purchase a ticket to enter the City Walls. The ticket price is typically around 200 HRK (Croatian Kuna) for adults, and there are discounts available for students and children. After obtaining your ticket, proceed to the entrance of the City Walls.

Once inside the City Walls, follow the path that leads to Tvrđava Minčeta. This will be a slight uphill walk. Keep an eye out for directional signs that indicate Minčeta Fort. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of Dubrovnik along the way.
