    From Ploce, walk to the nearest ferry terminal, which is located at the Port of Gruz. It's approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the Ploce area. Head southwest on Frana Supila towards the main road (Dr. Ante Starčevića). Turn right onto Dr. Ante Starčevića and continue walking until you reach the port. Look for signs indicating the ferry service to Lokrum Island. The ferry ride to Lokrum takes about 15 minutes. Be sure to check the ferry schedule prior to your visit, as the frequency may vary. A round-trip ticket costs around 150 HRK for adults.

    Once you arrive at Lokrum Island, disembark from the ferry and follow the signs to Fort Royal. The fort is located on the northwest side of the island.
