From the main square in Hvar Town, head towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Walk along the promenade until you reach the bus station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Here, you can take a bus to Cista Velika. Look for buses heading towards the town of Stari Grad or further inland. Confirm with the bus driver that the bus will stop at Cista Velika. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Cista Velika, the archaeological site is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Head northeast on D60 road, and follow the signs to Crljivica archaeological site.

Rent a bicycle in Hvar Town. From the rental location, cycle along the waterfront promenade (Riva) and head towards the bus station. Instead of taking the bus, continue cycling on D60 road towards Cista Velika. The ride will take you approximately 1 hour. Follow the road signs to reach the Crljivica archaeological site. Make sure to keep an eye out for the entrance to the site as you approach.
