Walking
Start at the main square in Hvar (Trg Sv. Stjepana). From the square, head east towards the waterfront promenade (Riva). Once you reach the waterfront, continue walking along the promenade until you see the boat docks. Keep walking past the docks until you reach the end of the promenade. At this point, take a right turn and head towards the hill. Follow the path leading upward; you will soon see signs pointing towards Dr. Josip Avelini Park. The park is located on your left as you ascend, surrounded by beautiful greenery.

If you're renting a bicycle, start at the bike rental shop located near Trg Sv. Stjepana. Ride towards the waterfront and then along the promenade (Riva) towards the boat docks. Continue past the docks and follow the road that leads upwards toward the hills. Look out for signs directing you to Dr. Josip Avelini Park. You can park your bicycle at the entrance of the park.
