Walking
From the center of Hvar town, head east along the waterfront promenade (Riva) towards the marina. Continue walking until you reach the main bus station located near the marina. From there, you will need to take a local bus to Zaraće. The bus to Zaraće is usually located at the opposite end of the bus station, so look for the signs indicating routes. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. It will take approximately 20 minutes to reach Zaraće. Once you arrive at the Zaraće bus stop, you will need to walk towards the beach. Follow the signs pointing to Plaža Velo Zaraće, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. You will see the beach ahead as you approach the coastline.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct method, you can take a taxi from Hvar town to Plaža Velo Zaraće. You can find taxis near the marina or call one through your hotel. The trip will take about 15 minutes, and the driver will be familiar with the destination. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your ride, as taxi fares can vary.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Hvar town. Head east along the waterfront towards the main road. After about 15 minutes of cycling on the main road, you will see signs for Zaraće. Follow these signs, and you will arrive at Plaža Velo Zaraće in approximately 25-30 minutes. The route is generally flat and offers beautiful views of the coastline.
