Start from the main square in Hvar known as Trg Sv. Stjepana. Head east towards the waterfront. Continue along the path that runs parallel to the waterfront until you reach the harbor area. Once at the harbor, look for the ferry terminal. From the ferry terminal, you will need to take a ferry to Split. The ferry ride takes about an hour. Once you arrive in Split, follow the signs towards the city center.

Once you are in Split, head towards the Old Town. Walk towards the Diocletian's Palace, which is a prominent landmark. Enter the palace area through the Iron Gate or the Silver Gate, which is located near the northeast side of the palace. The Silver Gate is located on Hrvojeva street and is a key historical landmark worth visiting.
