Car
If you are starting from Pula, take the E751 highway towards the north. Continue on the E751 for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. As you approach Trieste, follow the signs for the A4 motorway. Once on the A4, take the exit for Trieste. Follow the signs for the city center (Centro). Once you reach the city center, look for parking options nearby, such as Parcheggio di Piazza della Libertà. From there, it's a short walk to Piazza del Ponterosso.
Bus
From Rovinj, you can take a bus operated by FlixBus to Trieste. The bus will take approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit and follow the signs to the city center. You can take tram number 1 from the bus station towards the city center and get off at the stop 'Piazza Goldoni'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Piazza del Ponterosso.
Train
If you are in Pula, take a train towards Trieste. The train journey will take around 3 hours with one transfer at the station in Divaccia. Once you arrive at Trieste train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. You can either walk for about 20 minutes or take a local bus (line 20) towards the city center, getting off at the stop 'Piazza Goldoni'. From there, it’s a short walk to Piazza del Ponterosso.
