If you're traveling by car, start on the A7 highway. Depending on where you're coming from in Kvarner Gulf, you may need to take local roads to reach the A7. Follow the signs for Rijeka and then take exit 4 for Opatija. Merge onto D66 towards Opatija. Continue on D66, passing through Opatija and past the town of Ičići. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto D75, heading towards Lovran. Stay on D75, following the signs for Mošćenice and then Batomalj. Once in Batomalj, look for signs directing you to Bernimark Beach, which is located at the coordinates 44.9370812, 14.7371789.

To reach Bernimark Beach via public transportation, take a bus from Rijeka to Opatija, which runs frequently. Once in Opatija, transfer to a local bus heading towards Lovran (bus lines 32 or 37). Disembark at the Batomalj stop. From there, it is a short walk to the beach. Follow the signs toward the beach, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance to plan your trip accordingly.
