Getting There

    If you are driving from Rijeka, take the A7 highway towards the island of Cres. Exit at the ferry terminal in Brestova and take the ferry to Porozina on Cres island. Once you reach Porozina, follow signs towards Lubenice. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive in Lubenice, park your car in the designated parking area. The Blue Cave is accessible by a short hike down to the coast, which will take around 20-30 minutes.

    To reach the Blue Cave using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Rijeka to Cres town. Buses run multiple times a day and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Cres, you can either take a taxi or rent a bike to get to Lubenice, which is approximately 12 km away. The taxi ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Upon reaching Lubenice, you will need to hike down to the coast to access the Blue Cave.

    For those already on the island of Krk, you can take a ferry from Valbiska to Merag on Cres. After arriving at Merag, drive or take a taxi to Lubenice. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and operates regularly. Once in Lubenice, you’ll need to hike down to the coast to reach the Blue Cave.
