The primary way to access the islands within the Kvarner Gulf is by ferry. Jadrolinija is the main ferry operator, providing connections from Rijeka and other mainland ports to the islands of Krk, Cres, Lošinj, Rab, and Pag. From Rijeka, ferries to Rab take approximately 2 hours. Car ferries and passenger catamarans are available. Ticket prices vary depending on the route and season.
